Анотація
Стаття присвячена дослідженню сучасного стану та основних тенденцій охорони авторського права ЄС. Встановлено, що поруч з посиленням охорони авторського права в Євросоюзі виникають питання, які потребують подальшого вирішення. На основі проведеного аналізу законодавства ЄС та виявлених проблемних питань визначено основні напрями подальшого формування законодавства Європейського Союзу для досягнення цілей побудови внутрішнього ринку, подолання транстериторіальних обмежень, спричинених розвитком цифрового середовища, а також забезпечення ефективного балансу публічних і приватних інтересів.
