Some of them focus on copyright, others on patent law. Not all the Ukrainian universities whose websites we studied have an approved policy or strategy that would set out general approaches to intellectual property issues, the rights, and obligations of the parties, the position of the educational institution, and its priorities. <\/strong>In this paper, the author analyses information on intellectual property rights from the official resources of higher education institutions in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine. According to the author, the UK higher education institutions pay the most attention to the issue of intellectual property, especially copyright. They have detailed development strategies and a clearly defined policy in the field of intellectual property rights. Universities have licences that allow staff to copy materials for educational use by students. Important materials on copyright in university teaching and research are posted on the official resources of educational institutions of the Federal Republic of Germany in connection with the amendments to the legislation introduced in 2018. The main focus is primarily on the commercialization of intellectual property, especially inventions and utility models. The university is creating mechanisms to reduce the workload of teachers in all subject areas when it comes to processing and implementing complex projects in the context of knowledge exchange. Among the Ukrainian higher education institutions, the author studied the information on intellectual property rights, which is reflected on the official websites of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National Technical University of Ukraine \u00abIgor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute\u00bb, and Lviv Polytechnic National University. These universities top the ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions \u00abTop 200 Ukraine 2022\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
