unification in the modern system of the legal protection of copyright and related rights. The author also examines the reasons for the growing interest in international treaty norms in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The specificity of copyright and related rights legislation is that its norms are limited by the territorial scope.&nbsp; This necessitates the legislative regulation of relations related to the cross-border distribution of works and other objects, and thus ensuring uniform the llegal protection and the effective enforcement of rights at the international and national levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The article notes that the international treaties&#8217; unification is achieved by establishing uniform norms in the legislation of different countries, using the norms of\u00a0the international treaties. The author identifies the advantages of the international contractual unification and also points out its disadvantages. The article examines trends in international law towards its regionalization on the example of EU legislation. The author describes the harmonisation of Ukrainian legislation with EU legislation and substantiates its impact on the development of the national legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The author makes a legal analysis of the Ukrainian legislation on copyright and related rights and notes the progressive changes that the Law has undergone in recent years, taking into account the norms of international and European legislation. At the same time, thefurther improvement of Ukrainian legislation in the sphereof copyright and related rights continues, including in the direction of systematisation, unification, and harmonisation of legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The article examines the importance and impact of the international, including the regional, unification on the development of the national legislation. The author proves that the impact of the international treaties unification on the development of the national legislation is manifested in the need to create a single legal international, regional space, which includes Ukraine, in order to establish common approaches to the regulation of relations in the sphere of copyright and related rights.
