Abstract
<\/strong>Pictures as result of creative activity may be considered as object of copyright and industrial property \u2014 industrial design. The article is dedicated to the comparative analysis of the Ukrainian legislation in this sphere. The advantages and disadvantages of these legal regimes for the matters of court expertise are the main theme of the article. The research and analysis presented in the article are based on the real court expertises. In the article the concept of \u00abuse of an object\u00bb is also defined.
